Privacy Policy

Summary

MyYouNote collects no personal data. The app has no user accounts, no tracking, no analytics, and no advertising. We operate no servers: there is nowhere for your data to be sent, and we could not read it if there were. This matches the App Store privacy label “Data Not Collected”.

Data stored on your device

Everything you create in MyYouNote stays on your device:

• your video library (titles, thumbnails URLs, durations, folder assignments),
• your notes (text, code snippets, timestamps, colors),
• your folders and app settings (language, playback positions).

On desktop this data lives in a local SQLite database inside the app's data directory. It is never transmitted to us — we have no servers and no access to it. Deleting the app's data (Settings → Danger zone → “Clear all data”, or uninstalling the app) removes it permanently.

Third-party services the app contacts

MyYouNote makes network requests only in these cases:

• YouTube oEmbed API and noembed.com — called once when you add a video, to fetch its title, thumbnail, and duration. The request contains the video URL; the only personal information exposed is your IP address, as with any web request.
• YouTube embedded player (youtube.com, ytimg.com) — loads while you watch a video inside the app, and also serves video thumbnails. It is operated by Google and governed by the Google Privacy Policy. YouTube may set cookies inside the embedded player.

No other network requests are made. There are no analytics or crash-reporting services in the app.

Backups

Settings → Export & import lets you export your library as a plain JSON file, saved wherever you choose. Exported files are under your sole control; keep them safe as you would any personal document.

This website

This website (myn.bdzapps.com) sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and makes no third-party requests. It is a set of static pages served over HTTPS.

Changes to this policy

If the app's behavior ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the effective date above. Because the app has no update-notification channel, check this page after updating the app if you want to review changes.
